Welcome to Monta Vista Future Business Leaders of America
Here's to the start of another FBLAmazing year!
Monta Vista FBLA is a chapter of the national FBLA-PBL. We have consistently ranked #2 in the nation and have had a long tradition of excellence in competitions and leadership. Through our halls have passed multiple section and state officers. External to our organization, our officers and members have rose to high places in other clubs on campus, and innumerable club presidents got their start in leadership training in MVFBLA.
MVFBLA is the organization to be in. Here's just a glimpse into what you'll find in MVFBLA next year:
- Amazing conferences in Santa Clara and Orlando, Florida
- Chances to work with business professionals through our Partnership with Business Project and business tours, including a trip to EA Games where you can get employee discount on all games
- Gain leadership experience through our projects and have a shot at officership at the local, Bay Area, State, or even National level!
- Build lasting friendships and have the time of your life, and make your high school experience truly "FBLAmazing"
If you're ready to take on the challenge and become part of something great that will define your high-school experience, download and print our membership application, drop it off in Portable 6. Meetings are every Thursday in Portable 6, and our first meeting is on September 14th. Hope to see you there!

Hello California FBLA,
Many of you may have heard about the recent flood at the location of our 2010 National Leadership Conference (NLC). It would be great for all of us to join in on the campaign to help rebuild the Nashville community in the aftermath of the flood. You can refer here for more details: http://www.fbla-pbl.org/docs/FloodRelief.pdf.
California FBLA has decided to focus on bringing school supplies for the flood relief. If you are attending the NLC this year, please consider supporting Nashville with school supply donations (pens, pencils, notebooks, etc.). You can drop off donations at the Flood Relief station, located in the conference registration area at the NLC.
